Red Deer Polytechnic will host its first Education and Career Expo next month.
There will be two sessions for the event at the RDP main campus on April 27.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Grade 8-11 students can learn about the 80-plus industry-relevant programs offered at RDP. Additionally, central Alberta exhibitors and employers will engage with RDP students and youth to increase their awareness about various careers though displays.
Then from 5-8 p.m., employers will be able to connect with high school and post-secondary students, as well as community members looking to enter the workforce or seeking a career change.
RDP will also host program presentations, guided tours, interactive activities, and free program applications for prospective students during the evening session.
Exhibitor applications are being accepted through March 15. Exhibitors and attendees can learn more about Red Deer Polytechnic’s Education and Career Expo by visiting: rdpolytech.ca/expo.
