Many Red Deer Advocate readers were right on the money when asked how many medals Canada would win at the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
Out of 101 votes, 38.61 per cent of voters (39) thought Canada would win 26 or more medals – Canada won 29, the highest ever.
Twenty-four people (23.76 per cent) thought Canada would win 21-25 medals and 16 people (15.84 per cent) thought the nation would win 15-20 medals.
Eight people predicted Canada would win 11-15 medals, five expected Canada to win 6-10 and eight predicted 0-5 medals.
One person selected “other” in the poll.
