Red Deer District Community Foundation looking for volunteer board members

The Red Deer & District Community Foundation is looking for new board members.

The foundation is an independent, community-based organization that focuses on philanthropy, grants and leadership.

In 2020, the board of directors is recruiting individuals with skills and experience in board governance, communications and marketing, investment management, fund development, government relations, human resources, recruitment and retention, performance management, strategic planning and risk management.

The board will set the foundation’s mission and vision, as well as its organizational priorities and strategic direction.

The time commitment is approximately 10 hours per month.

The application deadline is April 15 at 4 p.m.
