Canyon Ski Resort is now open for the season.
According to the resort’s Facebook page, the snow sport resort in Red Deer County was scheduled to be open from 12 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 11, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In 2021, the local ski hill opened for the season on Nov. 20, and opened Nov. 11 in 2020.
Canyon Ski resort has 80 acres of terrain for skiing, 23 runs, and six lifts.
