A man has been charged with robbery and failing to comply with probation following a bank robbery in Red Deer on Thursday.
Kwesi Samuel, 33, of Red Deer has been remanded in custody and will appear in Red Deer provincial court on Monday.
On Thursday at 12:45 p.m., Red Deer City RCMP responded to a complaint of robbery at the Bank of Nova Scotia at 4421 50th Ave. A male suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
RCMP arrested a suspect a short time later.
