Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools is partnering with Red Deer Child Care Society to offer daycare services at Maryview School and St. Teresa of Avila School.

About 15 to 20 daycare spots will be available to children in pre-kindergarten programs.

Red Deer Child Care Society is ensuring that parents who apply for childcare will be able to access the Child Care Subsidy to offset costs.

“We are looking forward to being able to provide our pre-kindergarten students child care services. It is our hope that this offers some flexibility for parents and their schedules with the availability of before and after school childcare,” said superintendent Kathleen Finnigan with Red Deer Catholic schools.

Transportation will include one-way bussing for the students. For example, if students attend the morning program, they will get bussed to school, and if they attend the afternoon program, they will get bussed home after school.

Registration information will be available in the coming weeks.
