The Chamber Chase is back.
Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce is organizing the team-building family-friendly event. It is a local spin of an interactive “amazing race” style of event, where participants will go to a member organization and will be given a task to complete, such as building or painting something, a physical task or a mind teaser.
New pit stops and tasks have been dreamed up for this year’s event.
River Bend Golf and Recreation Area is hosting the event, which takes place on Sept. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The race begins and ends at River Bend, where you will receive your clues and return to finish where the results of the race will be announced and a trophy for the winner handed out.
Each team will need two to four people, a smartphone and a vehicle.
Registration is mandatory and costs $30 per car. Space is limited.
