City council will consider the tax rate bylaw at Monday’s regular city council meeting.

Administration is recommending council give all three readings to the bylaw on April 11.

The bylaw sets the rates for collecting taxes to support the 2022 city budget, recently approved with a zero per cent tax revenue increase for 2022.

Monday’s meeting also includes consideration of the business improvement area tax rate bylaw. The bylaw applies to taxable businesses in the downtown and funds the Downtown Business Association budget. The association’s budget was approved by council in December.

Property owners who would like to connect with the city regarding their taxes can email tax@reddeer.ca, or call 403-342-8126.

More information about the tax program is available on the city’s website, www.reddeer.ca/tax.
