It’s time to dust of the skates for outdoor rinks.

The City of Red Deer said Friday that outdoor rinks across the city are ready for the winter season and many will be equipped with hockey nets.

The city also reminds users that outdoor boarded and snowbank rink use is limited to 10 participants per ice surface. They said masks are required if you cannot maintain two metres between you and members of another household.

The city has 77 outdoor rinks in total.
