The Red Deer College Students’ Association will have a new executive council for the 2018-19 school year.
The association held its general election Thursday, where a new executive team was chosen.
Chaise Combs was elected president, with Esther Oliva-Dzib as vice-president of academics, Adam Shendaruk as VP of operations and Brittany Lessard as VP of community and wellness.
Justine Ecker, Kendra Gagne and Ian Miller were elected as Students’ Association councillors.
“It takes a lot put yourself out there and run a campaign while maintaining your studies. It clearly demonstrates how passionate students are about their education, their future and Red Deer College,” said Kass Scholze, current president.
The new executive and SA council will officially take office May 1.
