RCMP received a complaint about a “highly intoxicated” man at the Super 8 Motel in Innisfail around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, the man was spotted inside the lounge area of the motel and was arrested.

The man was in possession of a key to a vehicle in the parking lot. Police determined the vehicle was stolen and numerous suspected stolen items, as well as weapons and illegal substances, were found following a search of the automobile.
