Municipal election candidates have responded to economic development questions on the BILD Central Alberta website.

The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD Central Alberta) asked candidates two questions: “What role do you believe the city should have regarding participating in commercial or free enterprise activity?” And “How could the city support the development industry to attract new citizens and grow our city and tax base?”

Central Alberta Realtors Association (CARA) also posed two questions on the BILD website: “Should the City of Red Deer re-examine secondary suites for homeowners?” and “How would you make it easier for buyers and sellers to access permit information for a home sale? “

The Red Deer Construction Association (RDCA) asked candidates: “How would you change the city’s business culture to make it more attractive for development?” and “How can the city better retain its city managers?”

Candidate responses, some with videos, can be seen on www.bildca.ca
