My name is Clara Davis and I’m 10 years old. I like living in Red Deer because there are lots of fun places to go, like Jump 360 and the Collicutt Centre.
The Collicutt Centre has swimming, skating, badminton, climbing walls, basketball, and skyball. Skyball is a trampoline with dodgeballs and a basketball hoop.
My favourite place to go is JDs Fabulous Feet because I love to dance and it is my dance studio.
There are some other dance studios in Red Deer too, such as Strive and Dance Magic.
Some of my favourite places to eat are Dragon City Buffet, Shiso (I love sushi), and Dairy Queen.
I love playing with my good friends on the street where I live. I love the new playground at my school, Mattie McCullough Elementary. I also like going to bookstores and shopping at the mall.
I love walking my dog around the block, too.
Red Deer is a nice size and nothing is too far away from where I live. I like that there are lots of open spaces to play. Although the winters are pretty cold, Red Deer is still a great place to live.
