Red Deer Hospice is hoping Red Deerians can lend a helping hand this Christmas season.
During the holiday season, the home is filled with festive decor and joyful music, in hopes of providing the residents a “home away from home”.
“Our goal is to give our residents and their families one last memorable holiday together,” stated Jerri Taylor, Red Deer Hospice’s Executive Director.
Taylor noted on Christmas morning, residents receive a stocking, filled with an assortment of donated gifts. For dinner, Hospice chefs prepare a delicious turkey feast.
Donations go a long way to helping residents, Taylor added.
“We are very grateful for our donors and the support we have in this generous community,” said Taylor. “We hope they consider our residents and their loved ones who are spending one final holiday season together.”
