The winner of the Red Deer Hospital Lottery Dream Home will be announced on Friday.
The Red Deer Hospital Lottery will go live at 11 a.m. Friday to announce the winner of this year’s Sorento Custom Dream Home, as well as the winner of the Mega Bucks 50 jackpot and two vehicle prizes.
This year’s dream home, designed by Sorento Custom Homes, is valued at over $880,000 and includes a $10,000 cash prize. Located in Laredo in southeast Red Deer, this modern home features four bedrooms, three full baths, a home gym/playroom, and furnishings from The Brick.
“Our 2021 Hospital Lottery was extraordinarily successful, despite the challenges faced by Albertans,” said Manon Therriault, foundation CEO.
“We sold over 90 per cent of lottery tickets, and our Mega Bucks 50 jackpot reached over $820,000. We are very grateful for the support we received this year.”
Proceeds from the 2021 Red Deer Hospital Lottery will be used for the purchase of electronic fetal monitors for the Red Deer Hospital Centre and other healthcare centres in our Central zone.
Each year there are over 2,700 births at RDRHC alone, and electronic fetal monitoring is performed multiple times to assess the baby’s well-being.
Lottery officials are excited to provide funds for this purchase through the generous support of ticket buyers and the volunteers.
