Rallies will be held around the province on Saturday — including in Red Deer — as part of demonstrations denouncing the UCP’s funding cuts to public services.

The Red Deer rally will run from 1 to 2 p.m. outside City Hall. People are encouraged to wear red and bring signs.

People can sign a giant card to UPC MLAs and listen to guest speakers.

A warm indoor location will be set up for letter writing and refreshments.

Rallies are also scheduled to be held in Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat, Fort McMurray and Banff.
