Red Deer Lip Sync battle set to benefit local organizations

Two community organizations are teaming in order to support those in need in central Alberta.

Lead the Way Development Inc. (LTW) and the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC) will host Rockin’ Red Deer Lip Sync battle on May 14 at Bower Ponds.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m., is family-friendly – with all proceeds going to the CASASC, to assist in their mission of ending sexual violence and building safer communities.

“We’re excited to be working with the CASASC team on this joint collaboration, said Danielle Worobey of LTW.

“This is an initiative that I have wanted to run for quite some time now, and I think this is the perfect timing now for our community to come together and reconnect for a great cause. I can’t think of a better way to do this than to have a lip sync challenge.”

There is no cost to attend the event. Registration is $500 per team.
