After arresting the suspect, a search of his vehicle lead to officers locating a loaded rifle, along with numerous tools that police believe were intended to be used as break-in instruments.
A 27-year-old man from Red Deer was charged with 12 offences, including careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of break-in instruments and several charges related to breaching court orders.
