A 22-year-old Red Deer man is dead following a collision between a pickup and a semi trailer southeast of Rocky Mountain House.
RCMP said the collision happened at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Highway 11 and Range Road 61, about 15 km from Rocky Mountain House.
The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old female passenger in the pickup sustained serious injuries. The driver of the semi trailer was not seriously injured.
Rocky Mountain House RCMP are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
