A Red Deer man was hospitalized after a targeted shooting.
Red Deer RCMP are investigating an aggravated assault that happened Sunday in Riverside Meadows. At about 5 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a gunshot in the area of 54th Avenue and 59th Street.
They found a 47-year-old male victim who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect and the victim are believed to know each other and both are involved in the drug trade.
