A Red Deer resident and a man from Saskatchewan have been arrested for allegedly exploiting children.

On June 26, police executed search warrants in Red Deer and Rocanville, Sask. Numerous electronic devices were seized at several locations and the two men were arrested.

The children are safe, say police.

A 40-year-old Red Deer man is facing a number of charges, including making arrangements to commit a sexual offence against a child, sexual assault and making child pornography.

He will appear in Red Deer provincial court July 17.

A 35-year-old Saskatchewan man is facing multiple charges as well, including three counts of sexual interference, making child pornography and distributing child pornography. He appears in Regina provincial court July 17.

Police say the names of the accused have not been releaed because they anticipate a court publication ban.
