A Red Deer restaurant has raised $500 for a local cat rescue organization.
MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual raised the money through its seventh annual Deeds Well Done campaign this past holiday season to support Whisker Rescue.
In addition to the $500 donation, a celebratory dinner was held at the restaurant for Whisker Rescue.
This campaign has raised about $100,000 across the country since 2013.
