Red Deer nurse practitioner convicted of sexual assault

A Red Deer nurse practitioner has been found guilty of sexual assault.

Christopher Moon Mah was found guilty in Drumheller’s Alberta Court of Justice on July 14. He was found not guilty of extortion and a charge of criminal breach of trust was dismissed.

On July 27, 2022 Three Hills police received a complaint from an individual who alleged that a Three Hills nurse practitioner had sexually assaulted them in exchange for prescription medication and money.

Christopher Mah, 43, of Red Deer, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, extortion and breach of trust on July 29, 2022.

A trial took place in Drumheller on April 11. Mah returns to court on Nov. 10.
