Red Deer City RCMP are after a man who robbed the Alberta Treasury Bank and attempted to rob the Royal Bank last Thursday.
Until RCMP obtained bank surveillance photos it was unclear if it was the same person. Police released the photos to the public today.
At about 1:30 p.m., a man was unsuccessful when he tried to rob the Royal Bank at 6791-50th Ave.
At 1:50 p.m., the Alberta Treasury Branch, at 4999 Molly Bannister Dr., was robbed by a man who fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as caucasion, about 1.7 metres tall, stocky build, brown hair, and a pot-marked, unshaven face with a goatee. He wore blue jeans, black coat, and a black and white ball cap.
