Red Deer Polytechnic will once again be hosting an in-person convocation for its graduates in June after two years of online ceremonies.

This year marks the institution’s 58th Convocation, and also the first as Red Deer Polytechnic, making the in-person event even more meaningful, the institution said.

“Convocation truly is the pinnacle of achievement for our students when they complete their programs, and it’s such a meaningful event for people from across our institution and community,” said RDP interim president Jim Brinkhurst.

“It’s a joyful celebration, and we look forward to sharing that joy with our graduates and their families again this year.”

Convocation 2022 will be held June 3 at Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, with a morning and an afternoon ceremony.

Details about what schools and programs will be featured in each ceremony will be announced at the end of March.
