Red Deer police are looking for two men who robbed the East 40th Pub at gunpoint last week.

The suspects entered the pub at 3811-40 Ave. at 2 p.m. on Dec. 28. One was wielding a shotgun and the other a screwdriver.

The suspect with the shotgun stood watch while the man with the screwdriver demanded cash. The money was placed into a black bag and the two men fled in a metallic brown Toyota Sienna driven by a third suspect.

A number of patrons were in the pub during the robbery, but no one was injured. The vehicle, which was reported stolen on Dec. 24, was found abandoned nearby. RCMP recovered it later the same day.

Both men were Caucasian and between 18 and 32-years-old.

The first suspect with the shotgun is described as being between 1.73 m (five-foot-eight) and 1.78m (five-foot-ten) tall, weighing 68 to 77 kg (150 to 170 lbs). He was wearing a balaclava, sunglasses and a ball cap, a blue hoodie, plaid fleece pants, grey work gloves and white running shoes with black soles.

The second suspect carrying the screwdriver is described as between 1.78 m (five-foot-10) and 1.83 m (6-feet) tall, weighing 82 to 91 kg (180 to 200 lbs). He was wearing a balaclava, grey hoodie, dark grey pants with a white stripe down the leg, dark work gloves and dark running shoes with white soles.
