All three Red Deer Public Library branches will be open for in-person express service beginning Monday.

This means Red Deerians can visit library locations in-person during open hours to browse the shelves, access library computers and printing services, pick up and check out holds using self-checkout machines and more.

Masks will be mandatory at all locations.

“Since we are operating under reduced capacities, we do encourage you to keep your visits short to ensure that everyone has a chance to use the library. If you prefer contactless holds pick up service, this remains an option at all branches,” a post on the RDPL Facebook page said.

Curbside pickup services will continue to be available at all branches for those who do not wish to enter the facility or those who are unable to wear a mask.
