Red Deer Public Schools will be offering a new Sports Academy program, beginning this fall for students of all athletic abilities in Grades 6 and up.

In partnership with The Dome Red Deer, students can participate in baseball/softball, soccer, hockey and sportfit (multi-sport opportunity).

“Students enrolled will not only develop skills in their area of passion but will also learn about important values such as teamwork, respect, responsibility, resilience, health and collaboration,” said Darrin DeMale, principal at Red Deer Public Schools.

“Students will enhance their skill in sport, while getting an excellent education and building character that will set them up for their greatest success.”
