Red Deer Public schools is seeking community input to help ensure a better education for its students.

The school board will launch an online engagement process between March 1 and 4 to further the learning of students across the region.

“The school board’s role is to ensure the best possible education for students which shapes the future of our community. The board works diligently in the cause of public education and in ensuring each student in Red Deer Public Schools is successful in learning and life,” said Nicole Buchanan, board chair.

According to a press release, they hope to learn how to make Red Deer Public Schools the best choice for students and what schools can do that will have a real impact on students’ success.

“Our community’s input will help guide the division and our schools on the future we all want for our students and community,” added Buchanan. “This is valuable and important work. We want to know how our community feels and we as a board will work to address that.”
