Three people in Red Deer have been charged after an alleged aggravated assault in Highland Green earlier this week.
On the afternoon of Jan. 11, police responded to a man who had been assaulted in the area and he provided a description of the suspects. He had serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Shortly after the alleged assault, police located the suspect vehicle and followed it to a nearby TD Bank and park, before arresting the three individuals without incident.
The three suspects, all from Lloydminster, are facing a number of charges and will appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on Jan. 26.
