Red Deer RCMP is asking the public to help identify two suspects allegedly involved in a break and enter on the city’s north end.

Officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at an apartment complex in the Pines neighbourhood shortly after 4 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Two suspects entered through a patio door and stole a number of items from the apartment, police said, adding the male homeowner, who was home at the time, found the suspects in his living room and chased them out.

The two suspects reportedly left the apartment and ran to an apartment building nearby.

Red Deer RCMP were unable to locate the two individuals at this second building and are seeking assistance from the public to identify the men.

The first suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, black pants, and white and black running shoes.

The second suspect is described as six feet tall with dark hair. He was wearing a black or brown toque, blue jeans, a dark jacket and had a white handkerchief or face covering.

Anyone who knows the identity of either of these suspects or has any information about this incident, is asked to call the Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
