Red Deer’s non-emergency police phone line has a new number

Since city RCMP are modernizing existing phone infrastructure, Red Deerians are asked to please call 403-406-2200 for non-emergency police matters. (This number replaces the previous non-emergency number of 403-343-5575.)

The non-emergency line should be used in the following situations: Reporting a crime that is not in progress, suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities, and noise complaints involving loud music or parties.

Red Deerians can also use the online crime reporting option for crimes not in progress, available at www.reddeer.ca/rcmp

Please call 9-1-1 for emergencies, including if a crime is in progress, or in situations where an immediate response from police is required.

To report bylaw complaints, please use The City of Red Deer’s central bylaw line 403-406-8766. For more details about who to call for enforcement, please visit reddeer.ca/enforcement.
