Red Deer City RCMP are investigating a complaint of an indecent act reported in north Red Deer on Wednesday.
At about 8:30 a.m., a young female child was walking in a back alley near the 5900 block of 63rd Street when she was approached by a male in a blue van.
The male opened the door of his vehicle, exposed himself and committed an indecent sexual act.
The child then fled the area and reported the incident.
No physical contact occurred between the offending male and the young victim.
The male suspect is described as:
• about 30 years old;
• darker skin;
• brown hair;
• brown eyes;
• unshaven;
• wearing a red shirt;
• sweat pants.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
• older blue van;
• roof rack;
• grey interior;
• old tires;
• cracked windshield.
