Police are investigating a robbery at Bower Place Mall.
On Saturday at about 7:45 p.m., Red Deer RCMP were called to the mall. According to the police report, two male suspects had entered a store, demanding money and merchandise.
These suspects then fled into a north-side parking lot, where a large black SUV was parked.
The vehicle was seen exiting the parking lot and heading northbound, towards Molly Banister Drive.
No one was injured during the incident.
Later Saturday evening, a member of the Red Deer RCMP’s General Investigation Section (GIS) observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description and pulled it over.
Officers observed what appeared to be some of the stolen merchandise inside the vehicle, and arrested the three occupants of the SUV.
No charges have been laid at this time, however, the investigation is ongoing. An update will be provided when more information is available.
