Red Deer RCMP is investigating after a gun was fired Friday night.

Red Deer RCMP is investigating after a gun was fired Friday night.

Just before 10 p.m., police received a firearms complaint at a residence near Arnold Close and Amlee Close. There was a large police presence during the investigation.

On Saturday, police confirmed a gun was fired in the area.

No one was injured and police say there is not believed to be any further risk to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
