Red Deer RCMP has confirmed that gunshots were fired at a north-end apartment building a day before a suspect fired three bullets at the front of a north-side restaurant.
Shots were fired at the apartment building on Monday.
On Tuesday, bullets from a revolver were fired at a window of Leah’s Bar and Grill, and one bullet broke the glass.
According to a statement on Thursday from Red Deer RCMP, a number of tips from the public were received and both incidents are being investigated.
Police do not believe the two cases are related at this time as some of the evidence does not match, but the investigations are still ongoing.
No injuries resulted from either shooting.
