Red Deer RCMP looking for suspects after collisions, physical altercation

Red Deer RCMP are looking for two suspects involved in collisions in the Kentwood area.

Police responded to reports of a truck and a SUV driving erratically around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found two vehicles had almost collided near the intersection of Kingston Drive and Kentwood Drive. A number of parked vehicles were struck by the truck.

Police say the driver of the SUV got out of his vehicle and attempted to break the driver side window of the truck after the collision.

The two suspects engaged in a physical altercation and then fled on foot in different directions. One suspect was picked up by a third vehicle, which drove westbound on Kingston Drive.

None of the parked vehicles were occupied at the time of the collision and no injuries have been reported.

Drugs and ammunition were recovered from the two suspect vehicles that were left at the scene.
