Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating two missing teenaged girls.

Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating two missing teenaged girls.

Police said Kayle Hanson-Hoyt, 13, and Maren “Emerson” Smith, 13, were last seen in Red Deer on Jan. 9. It is believed they are together in Red Deer, but police said there is a possibility they may attempt to leave the province.

Police describe Hanson-Hoyt as a Caucasian female about 1.49 metres tall (four-foot-11). She has long brown hair, and one brown and one blue eye.

Smith is a Caucasian female about 1.52 metres tall (five feet) and weights about 47.26 kg (105 pounds). She has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a tan 3/4 length coat with white fleece lining.
