Red Deer RCMP are going to the public again for help in identifying suspects in a December home invasion.

The home invasion occurred in the Fairview neighbourhood shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 14, when four masked men, one carrying a machete, forced their way into a residence on Ottawa Street.

A woman and man who lived there were assaulted. RCMP believe the incident was a targeted attack but that the suspects went to the wrong home.

All four suspects were Caucasian and less than 1.83 metres (six feet) tall.

One suspect was about 1.7 metres (five-foot-seven) tall with a fit build. He was wearing a “Venom” mask, a green camouflage jacket, green camouflage pants and dark green gloves.

One suspect described as having blue eyes and blonde or dirty blonde facial hair.

Another suspect wore a yellow plastic raincoat.

One suspect wore a puffy blue or grey winter jacket and jeans.
