Red Deer RCMP are seeking two suspects after a local man was robbed of his bike and wallet at Kin Canyon last week.

On March 27 at about 4:15 p.m., police received a report of a robbery. The male victim was on his bicycle, riding through the park when he was approached by a man.

After a brief conversation, this man threatened the victim with a weapon and stole his bike and wallet. The victim’s debit card was then fraudulently used at a number of local businesses.

Surveillance images obtained by police show two individuals using the debit card – a man and a woman.

The male suspect is described as tall with a slender build, with dark hair, a black hat, blue jeans and black sweater with red “FOX” logo on the front. He was wearing red and black sunglasses.

The female suspect had pink and dark brown hair, with one side of her head shaved. She was wearing black pants, a grey striped sweater, black coat and grey boots.

The suspects may still be in possession of the stolen bike, which is described as a green and black mountain bike.
