Red Deer RCMP seeking to question man about Canadian Tire store fire

Red Deer RCMP is searching for a man who may have information about last week’s fire at a Red Deer Canadian Tire store.

On April 5 at 8:40 p.m. a blaze started that caused significant damage to the north Canadian Tire store.

RCMP were called to assist Red Deer Emergency Services with the investigation.

It appears the fire started inside the building. Video surveillance footage helped identify a man who may have information regarding the fire.

He is believed to be between 30 and 50 years old. He is seen wearing a grey hoodie, black pants with white lettering on the sides, white high-top shoes, and a black hat with a white Boston Red Sox logo. He is also wearing multiple rings on both hands.

Anyone with information about this person is asked to contact the Red Deer RCMP at 403-406-2200.
