Red Deer RCMP are looking for a witness who was nearly struck by a vehicle during a dangerous driving incident.
Police say between 9:45 and 10 a.m. on March 21, a green GMC pickup truck was seen driving erratically along Spruce Drive, between 43 and 37 St.
As the vehicle was heading southbound on Spruce, it nearly hit a female cyclist along the road. An officer who was assisting in locating the vehicle came upon the incident as it occurred.
The officer asked the cyclist if she was OK before returning to locate the suspect vehicle and did not get her information.
Red Deer RCMP would like this witness to contact police at 403-343-5575. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or believe they know the cyclist involved is asked to contact Red Deer RCMP.
