Red Deer RCMP seize 450 feet of stolen copper wire

Red Deer RCMP made a large seizure of copper wire and is looking to the public for more information on the incident.

Charges have yet to be laid and RCMP is still trying to track down the owners of the wire.

On Dec. 19, police investigated a garage break-in and a day later executed a search warrant at a house on 47 Street in Red Deer.

RCMP seized approximately 450 feet of copper wire that had been cut into four foot sections. The wire is believed to be General Cable BICC Brand MI 3 Conductor #3/0 Copper 1000V.
