Many Red Deerians reported hearing and seeing a police helicopter slowly flying above the city early Tuesday evening.
A Red Deer RCMP spokesperson said the helicopter’s activity was part of an ongoing RCMP operation expected to wrap up on Friday.
Information about the investigation will be released on Monday.
