Red Deer Recreation Centre evacuated

The Recreation Centre was evacuated Wednesday afternoon due to a chlorine alarm caused by condensation with the system, says the City of Red Deer.

The city tweeted about the evacuation at 4:45 p.m., and stated EMS was on site.

“All public and staff are out safely,” the city said.

The centre was expected to be re-opened within 30 minutes.
