On May 28th and 29th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., citizens are encouraged to count anything from flowers in bloom to insects and spiders as well as amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

Counting can be done at home in your own backyard or at a nearby park or natural area.

Tally sheets can be downloaded from www.rdrn.ca. Anyone participating should contact Judy Boyd to indicate where they are counting so there is no duplication.

Completed tally sheets can be scanned and emailed to judy.boyd@shaw.ca or mail your tally sheet to Red Deer River Naturalists Box 785 Red Deer, Alberta T4N 5H2 Attn: Judy Boyd. The deadline to enter results is June 15.
