The City of Red Deer wants to create a community road map to address issues that lead to a healthy community by talking with people who work in areas related to drug and alcohol prevention strategies.

On May 16, the city will host a day long workshop at the Harvest Centre in Westerner Park.

Participants will get an update on what is happening in Red Deer and have an opportunity to weigh in on how the city should proceed into the future.

The keynote speaker Don MacPherson, the director of the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition, a national civil society organization with the goal of advancing improvements to Canadian drug policy.
