Red Deer and Central Alberta teens can learn about financial literacy education at Enriched Academy’s Smart Money Conference on May 12.

Students in Grades 7-12 are invited to participate in the Canada-wide event to learn the fundamentals of money management and making smart spending decisions.

“Enriched Academy’s programs have been so beneficial to my students in the past and I’m excited that more students in Red Deer and surrounding area will benefit from their money management expertise at the May 12 Smart Money Conference,” said Jill de Jonge, Hunting Hills High School teacher.

“I encourage all Grade 7 to 12 teachers in the area to sign up your students for one of the sessions.”

Enriched Academy’s Smart Money conference will be broadcast live throughout the day from a studio in Toronto to classrooms across the country.

The interactive, video-based format will allow teachers to choose from one of eleven 30-minute sessions that best fits their class schedule. Prizes will be awarded to students and schools throughout the day.
