Red Deer transit gets earlier start

Transit service in Red Deer will start earlier for some routes starting next week.

Transit service in Red Deer will start earlier for some routes starting next week.

On Monday, several routes across the city will start at 5 a.m., to accommodate early commuters.

The routes included are Gaetz Avenue Rapid Bus (Route 1) operating from 5 a.m. to midnight; Route 2 (Crosstown) operating from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m; Route 3 (Hospital-College) operating from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Route 4 (Glendale-Southeast) operating from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Neighbourhood area (Routes 10, 11, 13, 15, 16) operating from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The dynamic shuttle service will continue to offer transit service from Sorensen station to stops around the city from 8 p.m. to midnight.
