The U11AA Red Deer Chiefs hockey team will be giving the gift of warmth next week.
The team set a goal and has collected over 200 winter items over the past several weeks for Red Deer’s most vulnerable and will present them to SPARC Red Deer on Tuesday.
Items can still be donated over the weekend and can be dropped off at the Red Deer Public Library or on Jan. 18 at the Collicutt Centre at 5:45 p.m.
